South End Residence
3 storey house designed to compliment the surrounding neighbourhood of South End Halifax by incorporating traditional elements in a contemporary way. The exterior exhibits this strategy with a traditional gable roof and dormers clad in modern materials with minimal detailing. The ground floor facilitates aging in place and consists of a 2 storey naturally lit volume connecting the main living space to the back yard while the upper and lower floors provide spaces for entertainment and accommodations for visiting family members.
